Schools — Greater Montreal

A dozen Muslim schools and learning centres are listed, six of them in Montreal; the others are spread one per town or borough across the region.

The category covers full-programme Islamic schools, weekend schools, Arabic and Quran classes, and training institutes. Most listings — eight of twelve — are attached to a mosque or an Islamic centre, which mirrors how things work in Montreal: religious and language teaching often goes through the place of worship. Four listings report a prayer room on site.

These are not businesses and the halal status does not apply. The listing gives the address, opening hours when known (eight listings), the phone number and the website — five listings link to a site and four give a phone number; for the others, the address and hours are what the directory can offer. For enrolment, fees and curriculum, the school's own site or a phone call is still needed: the directory does not keep that information current.

The list is short compared with what actually exists; daycares, private Arabic tutoring and neighbourhood schools are still mostly missing, and only four listings have photos. Suggestions from the app and listings claimed by the schools themselves are what fill it in.
