About

“Every soul will taste death.” (Quran 3:185) Death is a reality that every one of us will inevitably face, yet preparing for it and understanding our responsibilities towards the deceased is something we often overlook. As Muslims, caring for the deceased is a communal responsibility. Learning how to perform Ghusl Al-Mayyit and understanding the rites of Janazah allows us to support our community during some of its most difficult moments, while fulfilling an obligation entrusted to us by Allah. We invite you to join us for an important educational and practical workshop designed to help us develop the knowledge, confidence, and compassion needed to fulfill this responsibility. Whether you have prior experience or are learning for the first time, this is an opportunity to prepare for a responsibility that concerns us all. 📅 October 3rd ⏰ 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM 📍 Islamic Centre of Quebec - El Markaz Islami 🤝 In collaboration with: MLF We encourage everyone to attend, learn, and reflect on the responsibilities we have towards one another in life and in death.
